Just an FYI...

I'm one of the lucky people for whom LJ's latest update has screwed up their ability to post comments. My browser's memory usage goes through the roof and then the browser freezes or crashes (and at home sometimes ends up freezing up my whole computer for several minutes). At work today it sent my browser into a perpetual loop. The mem usage would go up to 900,000K, the browser would stop and then reconnect to the site (where before it had just been giving me a stack overflow message) and then the mem usage would go up and... yeah...

Sometimes I can post with no problem and other times... not so much and since I'm tired of the 'how long will my old computer freeze for this time...' I'll probably be mostly quiet until they fix whatever it is.

I, along with many others have support requests up for this, but I'd ask if any of you are having similar problems that you open a support request as well since the more complaints they have...

I'm going to have to pull a semi-hiatus this weekend until next Wednesday to get through work. I'm still going to try to post either tonight or tomorrow to make Uncle's job at Koukakoru ICly official but replies will probably be slow and backlogged like a mofo. OKAY GUYS. I'm back-- mostly!

And a few days late, but ssssh. I'll probably still be a little slow until the weekend, but I am 99% back. Did I miss anything hugely important and/or interesting? ♥

Ruth again. What I'm really looking for right now are the characters running/involved with the Koukakurou tea house. It was the first place that Uncle was directed to as a good source of tea about a week ago, and he is likely to pull a Ba Sing Se and take over if anybody lets him stay long enough to put down roots. It is my own slowness in getting back into the game that has prevented this from happening sooner, if Uncle had his way he'd have a job in a tea shop and a place to say within the first day of arriving. Obviously I would like to do this ICly but some OOC info first would probably help. It might be that it's lapsed in ownership, it might be that its owners are on hiatus right now, but anybody got any info for me? Thanks in advance.

Now that I'm done freaking out about my iTouch not working and the fact I couldn't find my DS charger...

Alrighty Poly Sam here and I'm upping my semi hiatus to a FULL HIATUS~ Why? Well, I'll be in Virginia for some good ol' fashioned Robotics competition. • Friends contains all of your friend settings, from filtering your Friends page to adding, removing, and finding new and existing friends on LiveJournal.

• Explore includes search features, RSS feeds, Question of the Day, and FRNK radio.

LiveJournal Mobile update:

We've enhanced LiveJournal's mobile site to improve usability and load times. We've made more of LiveJournal's features accessible via mobile, including posting comments, uploading photos, reading and commenting on friends' posts, finding and messaging friends, and more. We look forward to reviewing your feedback and recommendations for future improvements.

Other important changes:

• You can lock comments to prevent further commenting on a post, while leaving existing comments visible.
• We replaced the "Tell a friend" link with a new "Share This" widget that lets you share LiveJournal posts on other social media sites, including Facebook, Digg, Twitter, etc.
• We changed some of the icons on entries (you can hover over the icons to view descriptions).
• You'll see a Tag count on your Tag management page.

• UPDATE: Rolling several updates into one listing here -- 1) Scrapbook should be back and working again. 2) The problem with the Update Journal page in IE6 and IE7 should be fixed now. 3) The problem with the userpic add-on package pricing has been fixed and refunds issued to anyone who was overcharged while the erroneous prices were in place.
• Non-conforming images will now be automatically resized for custom mood themes.
• Line breaks no longer count as two characters against your entry's character limit.
• We fixed a bug on the Manage Tags page so you can clear all tags and add new tags.
• We corrected the UI for the update.bml page so it displays properly in IE8.

Pixie here (play of Ray Carling [makesfolktalky]), bringing in a second character.

This is Adric of Doctor Who, companion to the Fourth and Fifth Doctor. He's originally from E-Space, and made his way into the Doctor's universe after stowing away on the TARDIS. He died after managing to wipe out the dinosaurs with a space freighter, attempting to save the Earth. Well, either that or he became king of an empire of scorpions for 500 years before finally passing away in Victorian London, depending on if you count Big Finish audios as canon or not.

He had a badge for mathematical excellence until the Doctor decided to use it to kill a Cyberman, aaaaand I'm running out of stuff to say about him now. He's a bit of a brat, but he's a nice enough kid really. He's just a bit crap at social situations, and not quite used to Earth culture.

Hey Poly! So Ides of March means traitors, which, if you know the Chronicles of Narnia canon, means this lady right here. Jadis has been sort of quiet lately, biding her time and watching you all but now she's going to come out and play...sort of.

What I am looking for are five volunteers to die. There are some specifications, though, as this will come into more focus as this plot (which is a little bit more far-reaching than this: stay tuned to how!) manifests. First, they need to have been involved in this curse: if you don't want to post or tag today that is okay as long as they were cursed today!

Secondly, they need to be supernatural: no humans need apply. Witches, wizards, werewolves, vampires, shifters...doesn't matter what they are as long as they aren't human!

If you volunteer, your character will die within the next week or so: I will email volunteers with more details!
